Don't wait for the leak.
Plan ahead.

The smarter way to protect your building's most critical asset. Most façade damage is not sudden it builds gradually through weathering, movement, thermal cycling and the slow failure of seals and fixings. By the time it's visible, repair already costs far more than it needed to. MYCare 's PPM programmes stop that cycle.

Up to 3×

more expensive to repair reactively than proactively

What is Planned Preventative Maintenance?

PPM is a structured, scheduled approach to maintaining your building's façade carrying out regular inspections and targeted works before defects develop into costly failures.

Unlike reactive maintenance which responds to problems after they occur PPM identifies risks early, tracks condition over time and budgets expenditure with confidence.

A MYCare PPM programme is tailored to your specific building, façade system and risk profile. It is not a one-size-fits-all schedule it is a living document that evolves with your building's condition.

Condition Report

A clear, visual report delivered within 5 working days of each visit. Written for FM teams and asset managers, not just engineers.

Budget Forecasting

Indicative cost ranges for all identified works so you can plan expenditure and avoid financial surprises.

Visit Scheduling

Annual, bi-annual or bespoke frequency scheduled around your building's occupancy and operational requirements.

Remedial Works

Where immediate or priority repairs are required, MYCare can carry these out during the visit or as a follow-on instruction.

Single Point of Contact

One dedicated MYCare contact manages your programme from scheduling through to report delivery and remedial follow-up.

Simple to start. Built to last.

Getting started with a MYCare PPM programme takes one conversation. Here's what happens next.

  1. You contact MYCare with your building details. We discuss your façade type, age, known issues and maintenance history. No obligation just a conversation.

  2. Our engineers carry out an initial condition survey, establishing the baseline documenting current condition, identifying immediate concerns and informing the PPM scope.

  3. We propose a tailored programme: visit frequency, scope of inspection, reporting format and indicative annual cost. Clear, transparent and fixed no hidden charges.

  4. On acceptance, your building is registered in our PPM scheduling system. You receive your first visit date and your dedicated MYCare contact details.

  5. Our engineers carry out scheduled inspections to the agreed scope. A condition report is delivered within 5 working days, with all defects classified and photographed.

  6. Where works are needed, we provide a fixed-price quotation for your approval. Repairs are carried out by the same MYCare team no subcontractors, no handoffs.

  7. Each year we review the programme with you assessing whether scope or frequency needs adjusting based on the building's evolving condition and your priorities.

Frequently asked questions.

Still have a question? We'd rather have the conversation than leave you guessing.

Ask us directly

For most commercial buildings, we recommend annual or bi-annual inspections. Buildings in exposed locations, with known defect histories or approaching end-of-warranty periods may benefit from more frequent visits. We'll recommend the right frequency during your initial scoping conversation.

Yes. We regularly take on buildings maintained by other contractors or that have had no structured maintenance at all. We carry out a baseline survey, review any existing records and build a programme from where your building actually is today.

MYCare PPM programmes run on a rolling annual basis with 14 days' written notice to terminate consistent with our outline Terms & Conditions. There are no long-term lock-ins. We retain clients because of the quality of our service, not contractual obligation.

PPM visits are scheduled, planned inspections. Emergency callouts are handled separately under our corrective maintenance service. However, retained PPM clients receive priority scheduling for urgent and emergency instructions meaning you go to the front of the queue.

Where possible, yes. Continuity of personnel is a genuine advantage of working with MYCare. Engineers who know your building's history notice changes a fresh pair of eyes might miss. We actively work to maintain continuity across visits.

Access requirements depend on your building. For most inspections, we work from ground level, internal common areas and existing access equipment (BMU, cradles). Where specialist access is required rope access or drone survey we agree this with you in advance and it is included in the programme scope.
